Did You Know?

Love taking your pup out with you now that the weather is warmer? It is strongly advised that you NOT leave your pup unattended in a car, especially with higher temps!

☀️ Cracking windows has been proven to NOT make a difference!

☀️ A 70 degree day can reach up to 100 degrees inside a car in twenty minutes!🥵

☀️ 31 states have laws in place regarding the matter with NC being a state that allows the appropriate authority to enter the car by any means if they determine the animal to be in distress.

✅Make plans to travel with another adult and leave on air conditioning to a avoid heat stroke or your dog escaping from an open window.

‼️What you can do if you find a pup in a car alone: assess the situation, notify owner if possible, call 911 or animal control if animal seems to be in danger, stay with the animal until they are safe, and document everything including information of the car.
