CRICKET

AGE: To come

BREED: Boxer and Hound Mix

SEX: F

BACKGROUND: Miss Cricket was found as a stray, emaciated and with skin issues. She evidently had also eaten a sock which she was able to move through herself. She was nothing but skin over bone with a body score of 1/9. We took her to our vet immediately after getting her and found she still had another foreign body in her (which she was also able to move through without surgery) and a very elevated liver enzyme (ALT). After much care and helping her realize she will never have to look for food again, Miss Cricket is ready to find her new home.

UPDATE:
Cricket is a SURVIVOR! Look at her transformation after only a couple of weeks! Sweetest girl and still forgiving despite the hand she was dealt. Cricket is doing so well. Her ALT is back to NORMAL!!! She's put on about 10lbs. All set to go! From emaciated to a most beautiful, healthy pup ready for her new forever home! Thank you Cricket for hanging in there and trusting us!

NEEDS: She would do well with a family/person with a fenced yard. Cricket would love a fur brother who loves to play. She might knock over small children, so a home with older kids would be best. Special thanks to her fosters Kate and Susan for helping her along the way to health!

HEALTH ISSUES: Cricket is up-to-date on vaccines, including Bordetella & Lepto. She is spayed, microchipped, vetted, and HW- surprisingly.
